Oh Pinterest What Have You Done To Me!!

So I, like most everyone else I know started using Pinterest, uh oh people!! It is like crack for a woman, I mean I love that place, mostly because it like stirs my brain and I start thinking all these wonderful ideas of what I would like to do with decorating my home, doing little crafty projects, what I should wear when my mind draws a blank (come on lady's I know you know what I'm talkin about, my husband likes to tell me I need like 2 hours alone to figure out what I'm wearing, it's kinda true...sometimes...I may be a little ocd I admit, well who isn't in some way??!), anyways also for choosing a fun dessert for the family, a good and different dinner to plan, cute and fun ideas for parties, a cute idea for some photo taking, and yadayadayada, the list goes on, Pinterest is lots of fun! I have to be careful though, I can let the day go by before I realize I'm on Pinterest Robot mode and I need to come back down to earth and get back to my duties of being mother, wife, and homemaker. But I have Pinterest to thank for helping me to start some fun new projects that I am loving and enjoying. I am going to start this journey with ya'll and hopefully it all ends on some good notes (meaning I didn't mess it all up!) So here is the first fun project I did which I am starting to love! It was fun to make, maybe it's just me, but I thought it turned out cute!

I found a cute T at a craft store and painted it, then got a cute frame and put some cute Scrapbook paper in it. I didn't take a picture of the T I used for this project, which I painted a light cream color, the T in the picture below is the one I painted black for another fun project which turned out fun too!
I bought some fun jewelry, yes I said jewelry and bedazzled the crap outta it!! What isn't fun bedazzling??! And Wallaaaw!! It's up in my entryway now and I love it! The picture really doesn't do it justice, it looks so much better in person, so you can always come by and say hello and take a look if you like, I'd love the company :)
So my next project is and was a little more difficult to say the least!! I really wanted a new tv stand and the ones I want and have been finding...weeeellll they cost way too much!! So a yardselling a yardselling I go!! I didn't have much luck in that avenue even though I go on a regular basis for my little business so I tried craigslist and baaamm I found it!! I saw it, I envisioned what it could be and so I bought it. Not too bad since I could sell the one I'm replacing, which I am selling on craigslist now, and make the money right back! So this is it, what I bought

So I sanded this piece down and got ready to paint this baby!! I was a little excited since I loved the outcome I could really see in my mind! By the way this is not the finished picture, the lighting is different, that's all, this is just while I was sanding it down, I'm painting this beauty black so just wait!!!
This is the Hutch part, the whole set was a buffet and hutch, really beautiful huh?? Not bad! I was going to sell the hutch part but I love it so much so I am brainstorming what I could do with this and where I could put it??! I have been thinking the laundry room??! I know it sounds crazy but I have some cool ideas in my mind so please don't think I'm crazy! LOL Anyways so I painted the piece it's done, but I still have to get some handles and do some touch up painting before the I can post the final project!! I am way excited because it's turning out lovely, my husband was at first really skeptical and like "why did you buy this piece of crap!!" now he's starting to see it and he is really liking it alot, he's even helped me with making one of the drawers a pull-down cubby, if that makes any sense. If not I'll show you in the final pictures!! It's almost there so pictures real sooooon!!! :)
Okay So I finally have the tv stand... done and whew, I am glad!!! It was a job, but so totally worth it!! I would have spent hundreds on something this size! I am extremely proud of myself and so is my husband! He helped make that flip down drawer which works great for our receiver for our surround sound! So here are the final pictures :) Hope you all enjoy and I hope you think it turned out good, I certainly hope I'm not the only one!! LOL

So here it is side by side Before and After :)
